WHAT IS THE SLEDGE HOCKEY INITIATIVE?
Sledge hockey is a fast paced sport and uses the same rules as stand up hockey! Players sit in a sled and use small sticks with picks at the end to propel themselves across the ice. Although it is one of the most popular Paralympic sports, it is currently not very accessible to the general population.

Our goal is simple; to give minor hockey teams in Edmonton the opportunity to try sledge hockey.
​
​
Minor hockey teams can book a 60 minute to 90 minute session with us and we will come to your regularly scheduled practice arena. We will provide all the necessary sledge hockey equipment, along with coaching and instruction (introduction to sledge hockey, drills, and scrimmage).

Price for 1 Session: ~$300
